Board of Directors
Marlon joined the LALC three years ago after completing his leather title year activities. He brings to the coalition the skills of project management, relationship building and sponsorship sales. He has streamlined communications and accountability as an officer of the board. In addition he helped shape the committee that has planed the most successful L.A. Leather Pride celebrations in recent LALC history. He currently chairs the LALP 2016 committee and as its producer he is responsible for the overall planning, operations, and outcomes. He is a member of the Regiment of the Black and Tans and the LA30.
Gus Norris found the leather community in 2009, making Pistons Bar in Long Beach his home away from home. He won the title of Mr. Pistons Leather in 2013, and since has dedicated his leather journey to welcoming the curious and producing events of all types – first for Pistons as their titleholder, then for the Los Angeles Band of Brothers as their Communications Officer. Most recently before joining the Board of the LALC, Gus contributed to the Los Angeles Leather Pride committee as Feeder Contest Coordinator. He is very excited to continue the work of the LALC, building community among LA’s diverse leather organizations.
Apolonio E. Muñoz III
Apolonio “Señor Apple” joined the LA Leather Coalition in 2014 as the representative for the Los Angeles Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence where he is also known as Sister Mariposa Patriota, the All-American Charity Whore. In 2015 Apolonio was elected to the Board of Directors representing those on the fringes of the Leather Community, such as members of the Drag & Veterans Communities and those new to Leather such as himself. Apolonio comes to the LA Leather Coalition with many years of service to the community serving on various National, Regional and Local non-profit boards, and is a Certified Veteran Peer Support Specialist & Ordained Minister. Since 2015, Apolonio has been part of the LA Leather Pride Planning Committee and was the receipt of the Chairman’s Award at the 2016 Southland Honors.
Apolonio is an active member of ONYX-Southwest, Los Angeles Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, and American Veterans for Equal Rights (AVER).

Patrick Smith is an LGBT community advocate, and has held the leather titles of International Mr. Leather 2015, Mr. Los Angeles Leather 2015, and Eagle LA Mr. Leather 2015. Active in politics, Patrick’s work has focused on international and domestic LGBT community activism. He has traveled the world, bringing the IML sash to countries spanning Africa, Eastern Europe and the Caribbean to meet with prominent LGBT activists and to learn about how western society can make a difference. His writing on LGBT issues can be found in The Advocate and numerous other publications.
Kevin has been involved with the LALC since the very early days. After spending a year as Mr. Bullet Leather 2001, Kevin served as Vice-Chair of the Coalition for 1 year, then Chairman for 2 years. Kevin has been very active in the production of LA Leather Pride over the years including producing The Southland Honors Awards 6 times since it’s inception under his leadership in 2004. Kevin runs most of the technical aspects of both the Coalition and LA Leather Pride – producing and maintaining the websites, smartphone app, and social media accounts.
In the lifestyle for over 40 years, Ms. Diana is a Coordinator Emeritus of The Threshold Society. She has been an educator in and out of the lifestyle for more than 50 years. Some of her achievements include Person of the Year, 2009 from Southland Honors and the Ms. Diana Lifetime Achievement Award from Leather H.E.A.T.
Alan has been active in Leather community as PLAYER and educator for 30 years serving as a past president for Avatar Club LA. Selected as Mr West Coast Rubber, & 1st runner up Mister International Rubber 2005, Alan has been partnered for 23 years to Mike VH.
